Indian Air Force Recruitment 2014 – Airmen in Group Y Trade

Indian Air Force has announced recruitment notification for filling up 61 Airmen in Group 'Y' posts. Applications are invited from unmarried male Indian Citizens (citizens of Nepal are also eligible) for filling up Airmen in Group Y Trade (Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician) Trades vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates may submit their applications on or before 27th January 2014. Further details like  eligibility, educational qualifications, age limit, how to apply, selection procedure and application form are given below.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Upper age limit should not exceed 21 years. In other words candidates should be born between 01-02-1994 to 30-11-1997 (both days inclusive).

Educational Qualifications: Applicant must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards, with at least 50% marks and 50% marks in English. Application Fee: No application fee is required for above post. Refer notification page for more details.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written test, physical fitness test, interview and medical examination.
